ABOUT YOUR LEATHER RUCKSACK

This isn't your typical rucksack. This Gavin Scott backpack is a big step up from the polyester backpacks of your school years. Made from high grade leather with a faux suede interior, this backpack will look sophisticated no matter where you're going.

The back panel as well as the inside of the straps are made from an aerated mesh material that is cushioned and breathable, making it comfortable when you're lugging around your laptop, books, sketches, and personal belongings. You'll be able to fit quite a bit inside, as the backpack measures 10.6" x 15.4" x 7.1" with straps that are adjustable from 24.4" to 35". 

We'll print the design onto the bubble textured Nappa, using richly pigmented eco-friendly inks that will make the design as durable as the leather itself. The sides, base, and outside of the straps are fashioned from black bubble textured leather, while the zip pulls, decorative tabs, handle, and strap attachments will be made from smooth black leather.

On the inside, your custom leather backpack is lined with black faux suede fabric and has two pockets, one of which can be zipped. Your bag is complete with studs on the base to protect the leather from scuffs, and two zips for easy opening.

HOW YOUR CUSTOM LEATHER BACKPACK IS MADE

Our backpack are completely made to order by the hands of our professionals. We print each design onto the bubble leather, which will become the front panel of your custom made leather backpack. Then each of the individual leather parts are cut to size just before everything is stitched together. The black faux suede lining is added inside, along with two pockets. The mesh bits such as the back of the bag and the back of the straps, as well as all the smaller leather details, are securely sewn together. Once everything is in place, your custom leather backpack is quality checked prior to packaging and delivery.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather has a naturally textured surface, you may notice small surface differences. This is common for natural leather and leather printing. All leathers age naturally according to usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base color may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use, we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep it looking its best. • Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. • Avoid contact with light-colored fabrics or upholstery as the color may transfer. • While a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow it to dry naturally away from direct heat. • To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint-free cotton cloth.
